Obituary for Ralph Hackney

Ralph Hackney, age 37, of Romulus, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Ralph was born August 20, 1981 in Dearborn, Michigan. He was the son of Larry Joe Hackney and Cindy Ruff.

To cherish his memory he leaves two children; Lloyd Austin Paton and Arianna Rose Hackney, his mother and step-father; Cindy and Richard Pierce, four siblings; Danyelle Kimbro, Alicia Hackney, Larry Joe Hackney II and Alex Hackney.

Ralph was preceded in death by his father; Larry Joe Hackney and one sister; Molly Mattice.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Crane Funeral Home, 36885 Goddard Rd. Romulus, Michigan 48174, (734) 941-9200. The service will take place on Saturday at 1:00pm, with family officiating.

I would just like to share my deepest sympathy for your loss of Ralph Hackney. God's word the bible gives a comforting message about our dead love ones. At revelation chapter 21:3,4 it says that God will wipe the tears from our eyes and death will be no more. It also says our dead love ones will be brought back to life on a peaceful paradise earth. Ralph, My sister Cary never calls me... It's easier for us to text. So last Saturday when she called me ,I knew something was wrong... I never thought what she had to say would have to with you, my childhood friend and ride or die friend all thru High school. You were the first at our Sons memorial and the last to leave, you showed so much empathy to Bill the kids and I, when we needed it the most. We are so sorry we can not be there physically to say good bye to you tomorrow, but please listen for us when we talk to you... I hope you find whatever it is you were looking for in heaven that earth could not give. Please play with our son... Hold him... Let him know how wonderful if a person his parents had as a life long friend. We love you Ralph.
