Dawn Marie Carrel-McDade, 40, of Romulus, Michigan, passed away on May 28, 2016. Dawn was born December 17, 1975 in Wayne, Michigan. She was the daughter of Robert Roy Carrel Sr. and Linda Joyce (Pugh) Carrel.

Dawn enjoyed baking, doing arts and crafts, talking to friends and family, receiving foot messages, watching T.V., especially the Detroit Pistons, and listening to all different types of music. She was a very caring person, loved to smile and family was always number one in her life.

To cherish her memory she leaves her husband; John R. McDade II of Romulus, her father; Robert Roy Carrel Sr. of Taylor, two sons; Lamount Jackson of Romulus and Charles Edward Jackson III of Romulus, one daughter; Shianne Lynn Wendland of Ypsilanti, one brother; Robert Roy (Andrea) Carrel Jr. of Florida, and one sister; Tracie LeeAnn (Vaughn) Carrel of Lasalle, Ontario, and a host of friends and family.

Dawn was preceded in death by her mother; Linda Joyce Pugh.

Family hour is from 9:30am to 10:30am on Thursday June 2, 2016, at Crane Funeral Home, 36885 Goddard Rd. Romulus, Michigan 48174, (734) 941-9200. The funeral service will be held on June 2, 2016 at 10:30am, with Pastor Robert White of Grace Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will take place at Michigan Memorial Park.
