Carolyn Frances Workman, 76, of Romulus, Michigan, passed away on November 28, 2016. Carolyn was born January 14, 1940 in River Rouge, Michigan. She was the daughter of Joseph Horvath and Rita (Cooney) Solmose.

To cherish her memory she leaves one son; Reece (Martina) Workman of Romulus; one daughter; Arlene (James) Duprey of Riverview, one brother; Charles Horvath of River Rouge, three sisters; Arlene Horvath of Mt. Morris, Debra (Edward) Pilch of Trenton, and Barbara Apperson of Woodhaven, four grandchildren; Dustin, Kristopher, Jessica, and Jennifer, and nine great grandchildren; London, Christina, Destiny, Selena, Dustin, Melody, Kristopher, Ethel, and Calvin.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; Clarence Workman.

Friends may gather from 1:00pm to 8:00pm on, Thursday December 1, 2016, at Crane Funeral Home, 36885 Goddard Rd. Romulus, Michigan 48174,(734) 941-9200. The funeral service will take place on Friday December 2, 2016 at 11:00am, with Major David and Darlene Harvey of the Salvation Army, officiating. Interment will be held at Michigan Memorial Park.
