Genevieve Dugan, 88, of Romulus, Michigan, passed away on March 5, 2017. Genevieve was born on June 26, 1928 in Romulus, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Phillip Renke and Cecilia (Schoenrock) Renke.

Genevieve was formally on the Romulus Historical Commission, the Romulus Cemetery Commission, volunteered with Helping Hands, and very involved in activities at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. She was an avid walker and she enjoyed crocheting. She crocheted over 100 blankets for Special Tree.

To cherish her memory she leaves two sons; Daniel Ray Dugan of Venice, Florida and Robert P. Dugan of Romulus, two daughters; Patricia Twitchell of Florida and Sharon (Matthew) Raftary of Romulus, two brothers; Phil Renke of Romulus and Ray Renke of Romulus, three grandchildren; Derek, Bryant, and Melissa, and one great grandchild; Emily.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; Bennett Daniel Dugan, and two sisters; Mary Ann Banks and Pat Renke.

Friends may gather from 1:00pm to 8:00pm on, Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Crane Funeral Home, 36885 Goddard Rd. Romulus, Michigan 48174,(734) 941-9200, with a Rosary at 7:15pm. Prayers will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 10:15pm then to St. Aloysius Catholic Church for mass at 11:00am, with Father John Dumas, officiating. Interment will take place at Romulus Cemetery.
